SENIOR FREELANCE SET OF HANDS
I can come into your business with Senior Design Level mindset and take on whatever task is thrown at me, working closely under your Team Lead’s (Head of, Design Director or such like) clear direction. This could involve the whole process from research through to design, technical drawings through to final fit. I can do this kind of work on a part time basis.
SPECIAL PROJECTS UNDER LEADERSHIP
Perhaps you have a special creative project you want to undertake but your design team is too busy to give it the headspace. You know what you want, but need the right person to execute it with passion and clarity. This could be a new brand partnership, a brand new category you want to research and trial, or perhaps a seasonal story such as ‘ski holiday’ or ‘back to work’ that you want a full view into.
COLLABORATION PROJECTS
I can come up with off beat collaboration partners and ideas that will allow you to interact with your customer on a different plane of engagement. I will make the partner suggestions and introductions, lead the creative pathway with the collaborator and work on the commercial offering and marketing story that will make it a complete solution.
FUTURE PROOFING with a SUSTAINABLE APPROACH
Sustainability is a very complex subject that I have a huge passion for and endeavour to stay up-to-date and in-the-loop of new initiatives.
Having worked in the commercial industry where bottom line is often no.1 priority, it can be incredibly difficult for design teams to be heard, or even have the time to gain the complex insights required to fully understand what are the best and easiest first steps to take.
I can look at your brand identity, look at your product offering and supply chain partners to find the most compelling and honest way your business can make an impact within the resources and parameters you have as a brand.
BRAND REFRESH
Perhaps you want some new energy to re-vitalise your design approach.
I can do this through careful analysis, connecting with the team on a 1:1 basis and observing the current systems & processes that define the ways of working that can sometimes lead to stagnant thinking. From there we can work on integrating new behaviours that should reinvigorate and disrupt the norm. This might involve new inspiration channels, different ways of presenting throughout the season, through to incorporating new brand guidelines into the seasonal processes. It will be a positive process that is solution and future-proof focused.
